A day in the life . . . well, it started at about 5 am - I was awake, so I got up, showered and washed my hair, put on my running clothes, gathered a change of clothes and headed south to San Diego to run with a couple of friends.

At 8:45 am I finally showed up - the traffic on I15 had slowed to a halt many times and was creeping along - some crane (not the bird) had fallen in the northbound lane and the southbounders had to stop on the way down to pay their respects as they drove past ;-[

The friends were calling and thought I'd gotten lost - wondered why don't I have a cell phone yet? One fed me and helped me with this blog - note the cute weather pixie and my favorite places section. I talked to another friend on the phone. I was tired - I'd gone to bed late (after a day of playing with another technology toy) and gotten up early and I was tired - I took a nap til 2:45 pm

Now, I'm going to change into my go downtown clothes - I don't even have to shower again - we didn't go running - another day of hanging out and successfully avoiding exercise.
